Introduction

Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) apparatus is used to study the structure and dynamic properties of solid materials. Unlike traditional liquid NMR devices, solid NMR devices use nuclear magnetic resonance phenomena to study atomic nuclei in solid materials, thus providing important information about the chemistry, physics, and materials science of the materials.NMR solid test to analyze the structural and composition of solid materials like: Inorganic materials (solid catalysts, glass, ceramics, etc.); Organic solids (polymers, membrane white matter, etc.); Biological materials (bones, hydroxyapatite, etc.)

Representive Results

1. Si NMR spectra of cement without and (b) doped with Ghana meter TiO2 at28 days of hydration and the spectra after peak fitting
2. Zinc hydroxide was studied by NMR: NRM spectra of zinc hydroxide and wet zinc hydroxide

Sample Requirement

1. Powder sample more than 200mg (volume filled with diameter 2mm).

2. The sample should be solid, not liquid. Normally, the volume of the sample should be smaller than the size of the cavity inside the NMR probe.

3. The sample should be a uniform solid and should not contain bubbles, gels, insoluble impurities, etc.

4. The sample should be of sufficient chemical purity to ensure a single signal source.

5. The sample should be stable enough to ensure repeatability of the data.

6. The sample should be packed into the NMR probe as much as possible to obtain the best signal strength and resolution.

7. The sample should have sufficient NMR sensitivity to ensure adequate signal strength in a reasonable amount of time.

8. The sample should have sufficient thermal stability to avoid irreversible chemical or physical changes in NMR experiments.
